no bagger for spring cleanup
Just getting started and i see leaves all over the place. about to start the door to door knocking for accounts in the neighborhood. i am curious what to say when they ask me to clean all the leaves when i dont have a bagging system on my 2006 Dixie Chopper.
sure, i could rake but how to i price? should i just mow it in a row then rake? i have high lift blades (thinking of getting mulching blades fyi) and not too sure what to do. any and all advice is appreciated. most properties sit on about 1/4 to 1/2 acre total including home. |

Spend the money on a catcher to go on a walk behind.

That way you can do back yards too. It's not really bad look at accelerator on youtube using the tarp helps a lot too. They make an extender too. You wouldn't have to dump as much as you would think. 9 bushels I believe you can get in them.

There really is no comparison the Accelerator catchers. Ergonomically correct, light weight, fast to deploy and the list goes on...... A home made welded one would be struggle to keep light. I have a steel Pro Fit for a WB and it is back breaker.

being how new i am, i will just pick up a walk behind with a bag. makes more sense right now. hopefully next year this time i will be full time on yards and not relying on my day job for the bills to be paid. maybe then it will be worth it to me to buy one.
thanks for the advice guys! |
