Wanting to add lawn spraying (weed n feed) to my biz

Hi everyone,

Background: near Texas and Oklahoma border (so I'll need to get licensed in both states). I plan on doing vast majority of spraying in Texas.

So I'm curious what all I need and in what order.
I currently have a 200 gallon sprayer on casters. I am thinking about trading my work truck in for a flatbed truck to out sprayer on. Seems like this is an efficient setup up (I can always buy another sprayer on a trailer if I feel the need).

So, I know I need to be licensed in Texas first for herbicides. I did a little research and it looks like Texas is reconfiguring their tests in the very near future. Would anyone of you Texas guys like to give any advice on how to prepare? I own my business but have never sprayed commercially.

Also, I'm thinking about getting some fairly inexpensive mapping software for bids. Any suggestions?

ANY tips you all (local or not) would like to share?
