I was reading in the recent PRO mag. that in January, PRO subcribers can set up a website for FREE. Anyone know anything about this, is it legit? Sounds too good to be true. Would be a great advertising tool.

I saw that also. I'm old enough to know that anything free is either not worth bothering with OR has some strings attached. I'd like to think that PRO would be different but, I can't help thinking that it will be full of popups or other advertising not related to my operation. We'll see when it opens up for us. My own opinion is, if a web presence is worth having, it's worth doing in a professional manner.

I read that twice because I just paid for a full year the day before. I don't have it in front of me but I think it said they will help you set up your website free of charge. You will probably still have to pay for hosting. That's the the same deal I just got with another company. $19.95 per month or $129.00 for the whole year up front.

I also read that and thought there has to be a trick to it. The way I read it oh was that it was totaly free for a website? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Depends on what kind of site it is, what you plan to do with it, whether or not you want to promote the site, number of pages on the site, hosting fees, etc, etc, etc....

I got my issue of Pro today. Went to the website to look for info. I could not find any info about what is included, costs, etc... They wanted for me to transfer my domain to them in the second step. I did not want to do that until I find out the details. They had some good sample sites. I was wondering if those were templates. I'm not a good designer, so I was looking for a easy template that looks good. If anyone here would like to give me a quote on designing a simple 5 or 6 page site send me an e-mail. I have seen some really nice looking websites here.
