what would be the value of this mower

I have an option to buy an older 48" walk behind mower. I checked it out this eveing and the seller told me to make him an offer. It is a Ransomes M48-11B. It is a fixed deck, belt driven, old pistol controls, a 14 hp Kawi powerplant. It does have a small rust hole on the top side of the deck and another small one is forming. It is at least 20 years old. What would be a good offer in your book. I searched around on google and found one go for $200 and another go for $475.
thank you,
mitch

Depends on how much you want or got to mow. IMHO you may look around a bit longer, depending on budgit.
