When these HOAs have money they jsut look for \ways to spend it. This is a new section they want clearned and then mowed. Notice the original barbed wire fence still there from when this likely a ranch. This is right at the northern limits of Austin. We have a commericial property around the corner from this. We will likely sub this out since this is a bad time for us to be doing something this major. Probably a $5K job. This stetch is 300 yds. and 50 ft. deep.

I asked for clarity on who the actual owner was in the past as well. The world "they" was used to describe the owner but I never understood who "they" actually was. Enlighten us Ed.
