Scag Blade clutch-is it good?

I'm repairing an older Scag walk behind. Was told by owner that blade clutch is bad. I got it off and energized it with 12 volt battery and it engages like it is supposed to. That proves it's good, right? That is what I want to be sure about. Think the toggle switch is bad. Any input appreciated, Thanks

That shows the coil is good, Make sure both bearings spin (not locked up), If so go to the switch and test for power in and out to the clutch then ground to the clutch....
