Toro bough Exmark because they were suffering and cheap and they had some good designs. If Exmark would have been anything toro wouldn't have had to bail them out in my opinion.

"Believe me I don't think exmark is the best anymore. Scag, grasshopper, and the new ferris with suspension and icd deck are all better"

Exmarkman I am not trying to be a jerk but you may want to look back at what you are writing and make sure you are saying what you really want to say in a way that gets the point across less agressively. You just said two opposite things that are very very opinionated and when you use words like "bullshit" and the like that seems to be what starts pointless arguements like earlier in this thread and you make yourself sound really un-professional and confrontational. Just trying to help you avoid issues with people that's all.

toro is one of the top selling brands in the market in the US......

i know it also varies from location to location.....

in my neck of the woods all you see are mostly toro and exmark mowers. very few use scag, walked, wright or anything else for that matter.......

i've never looked into it or heard why toro bought exmark so i personally can't say. but no matter what i'm sticking with toro and exmark as my brands. right i own 2 toros an an exmark. 3 years ago it was the other way around.

You maybe right, but why do they have all the money? Because the sell a great product at an affordable price and they do this many times.
