Decent deal on a Bobcat 36" Hydro

Found this 'demo' unit still wrapped up and boxed in a crate for $3,299 at a nearby dealer. 36" Bobcat hydro walk behind with electric start. I'm pretty stoked about the purchase at that price, seems comparable equipment from other manufactures run over $5000.

That's an excellent deal if you ask me. I also have an older Bobcat 36" Hydro walk behind and its a beast still has the original engine on from 10 years ago. They are a tank, some people hate on Bobcat because they are not as popular as scag, exmark, etc...but I think they are fantastic machines. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I had dealer support for them around me. Good luck with it and show us some cut pics!

I don't have any fancy cut pictures as we only have St Augustine grass in the front yard. I just brought in 26 cubic yards of top soil in the backyard and seeded Bermuda so hopefully in a month or two I will have a yard to show off the mower.

I was very happy with the deal when I saw the demo advertisement on Craigslist. I called the dealer and they said they had one left and that it had never cut grass but had been on display so it would have normal paint fading and scratches from being out in the sun. I told the manager I would head in that day to pick it up. The dealer is 30 minutes away and closed at 5pm and I called at 3.

After hanging up and connecting to the trailer I got a call back saying the mower wouldn't be ready Thursday because it was still in the crate. I was estatic that I was getting a demo price on a unit that had never seen sunlight. Went and picked it up first thing this morning after work.

Awesome find!!!!!

Treasure it. Bunton/bobcat mowers are top of the line regardless of what anyone claims.

I'm running 2 80's bunton/bobcat mowers that I wouldn't trade for anything this side of a diesel ztr.

Bulletproof tanks.
