Gravely Pro 36

Just purchased a hydro gravely pro 36. Are striping kits universal? Already spent $350 on stand on and not looking to spend another $100 on striping kit. Tried to search on the internet and cheapest I found was $75.

If you could return your sulky, you could get a sulky like Hustler Trimstar's Roll-On Striping Sulky or the Proslide XT.

The other option is make a striping kit. You can use rollers, chains, or a hard rubber flap.

Also make sure your mower has the correct pitch from front to back.

Yeah, a hard rubber flap will probably be the cheapest and also the easiest.
