THEGOLDPRO'S 2012 Stripe/Equipment thread.

Ahhhhhhhhh spring is almost here..... So i might as well start my 2012 thread for new equipment/stripes. Anyways i picked this used 60 inch walkbehind up today to add to the fleet, Were going to branch into 2 crews this year so i needed another walkbehind for the new guy so he doesn't destroy my newer one.

Tomorrow we are taking everything out of storage and starting the spring maintenance on it. Im hoping to actually take a pic with all the equipment lined up but we will see.

What year is the new (old) lazer? Good luck this season! What do you think of having two crews, will it be a lot more to worry about?

You mean what year is the walkbend? i have no idea lol im guessing its a 2000-2001.

I picked up 35 new residential accounts allready this season and i usually pick up 15-20 more the closer we get to spring time, so a second crew is needed, we were working 7 days a week last year with the amount work we had. so im guessing this year we will have an extra 40-50 accounts from what we had last year when its all said and done.

So i really dont have a choice i need to run 2 crews, Ill let you know how it goes tho lol

Yes sorry I meant the walk behind, thats good, older is okay if it runs well. Definitely let me know how it goes!

Are you the kind of person to trust people with your equipment without worrying about it? Because I don't like people using my stuff without me being there to make sure its being cared for, unless I really trust who is using it.

No i don't really trust anyone, Most people who work for you don't give a crap about your equipment because they don't have to pay to fix it when it breaks.

My younger brother will be running the 2nd crew so i'm not worried about the equipment.

This mower was owned by a good friend of mine who keeps his equipment in amazing shape and always does whatever maintenance is needed, so i wasn't really worried about the age of it. it runs like a brand new machine.
