What service do you use to run a criminal background check?
Hey guys, I'm asking this for my sister who is wanting to run a criminal background check on someone that may be working for her in the future. Is there a place that you feel is best for this?
Thanks in advance, Stan (N AL) |

The state of NH charges about $20 and takes about a week. I would check with your state.

We won a contract on a small pharma co. and had to do back round checks and drug test on everyone that would enter the property. After talking to the facilities manager I found that it included a local and federal search that can take up to 30 day's and that was on their dime. Everyone passed we had to go to a training course for 2 hours and sign off on some safety standards. One building is fenced off and we need badges to enter the grounds to service them, last week as we mulched we had a security guard that just walk around us all day.

Your local department is your best bet really. Even if you had a friend that's an officer they could get in trouble for running other names. There was one officer that got bored in a mall parking lot and searched Obama... 5 minutes later he was surrounded by secret service and FBI vehicles, staring down the barrels. He was later fired.

Not that this would help you for where you live. But our state has websites.... free.... for all those convicted of EVERYTHING form speeding tickets to delinquent taxes.... sex offenders.... and it's all free.
You could call a state official someplace and ask if your state has like. I look up a potential client if it's a big account. Found the guy who called me about doing his big fancy schmancey property had a two million $ judgement against him. |
