Yes. They were just as fast when I had a question after the purchase.


Not that those numbers do me any good. Apparently I still need to know the secret handshake because those part numbers don't get results anywhere I've searched - Google OR on "enter your part number" searches on mower parts websites.

Must be set up to force you to deal ONLY with your dealer. I mean, I do support my local dealer, but you'd think you could at least shop around for pricing just to see what it may cost.

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to shop around a little bit, but if you take those numbers to your dealer and they might even have them in stock I know they should have the catcher, not sure about the mulch kit but if they don't they'll order one up for you.

Lets see some stripes bro, i'm interested in buying one of these. What's the depth of the deck and does it include a stripe kit like the z's. Any noise from the timed blades?

I've never used one of these - I don't even know HOW I should be mowing with it yet! Do I go "back and forth" like with a push mower, or do you go around the perimeter using some other sort of "pattern"? I haven't a clue.


Depth of deck is 5" (measured on outside)

No stripe kit. None listed as available (for the 36") on Ferris website.

Noise? I don't follow.

Assuming you're not efn with me here, yes forward them make your turn then forward again. Your grass will have been vacuum'd up, cut and laid in a direction that the sunlight will hit the grass where a stripe will occur.

As for the sound, i've heard that timed blades can be noisy. I have no clue if that's true or not. I run an 2011 IS3100Z with an ICD deck and let me tell you i love the machine and love Ferris products. I really want to buy a 36 hydro like yours. Would love to see a property freshly cut. Throw up a pic
