I had a sulky for my old John Deere WB so I know how much im missing out on. I get heavy blisters from walking long strips like that () but the machine is mostly used for clean ups.

Clean ups + Trac Vac + Sulky = DANGER
Ya i'll try, keep an eye out for it this summer, Ive got one acct in your neck of the woods, its right on humboldt. What machine do you use for your mowing?

Looking at the pics it kinda seems your equipment is all "second hand" kinda mix and match with the trucks. Im just wondering can you not afford to upgrade your fleet or just choose not to so you save money?

Last year, I chose to invest in equipment that was reliable. I'm holding on to money to get better equipment, use what I have for now until the right time approaches.

This may be a personal question but what are you charging for clean-ups of just one yard?

I think if he can fix the equipment himself why not continue to use it. Maybe the trucks should be upgraded but as long as its in his budget. I was suprised to see a plow on a f150 or chevy 1500

Looks like you have a very inefficient and hard to use operation. Why on earth would you ever fill a 1/2 ton truck with a topper with debris? Take the cap off and build sideboards and a tarp roller...who the heck would want to climb in there to unload the debris...

You seem like a pretty smart guy...just use your head more and try to figure out better ways to do things and your days will go better and you'll make more money.

Definitely an improvement on the stripes this year...keep it up.

I work on my own vehicles, most of my equipment also. Unless it gets too internal then I have a small engine mechanic on hand.

My trucks are workhorses, I keep them up to maintenance. In no rush to upgrade or expand, this business takes time.
