Walker Gearbox Parts

Is there anywhere online to buy Walker mower deck gearbox parts.. specifically the casing. What brand are they, where does Walker buy them, etc. ??

Walker deck gear boxes are the 1000 series. The number is stamped real small on the mounting flange.

If you have any Walker numbers for any deck gear box parts you need just post them and I can cross them for you. I have been told the aluminum housings are being phased out and they are going to cast iron housings so you may not be able to get just the housings for some gears boxes.

Walker Gear Boxes

Here is a link to the Peerless repair manual for most series transmissions and boxes. The 1000 series starts on page 93.

Hey guys, i know this is an old post.... But is there another source for gearbox parts. I have a 56 inch deck that has a 15 tooth gear on the verticle shaft that has 2 broke teeth, I tried distributorships but hey say that gear is on back order. I'd really like to get this deck back together, is there anywhere else online i could quickly get one of these gears?
