Yes, I think DA is right. Some of the new SR4's might in fact have a chinese made engine. If you go to the Toro website you will see that most of the SR4's have either a Honda or Briggs engine but 2 or 3 models have a "Toro" engine. Those are most likely chinese made and labeled as Toro.

Toro still offers a Honda, Briggs or KOHLER on 3 of their 21" HO mowers.

Which I believe are good engine choices.
