New Weed Eater-The best of the best.

So, I'm in the market for a new weed eater. The thing is I love trimming and edging lawns with a trimmer. It's almost a sport to me. I have been using a Redmax 2600 I beleive. It is almost 3 years old and its beginning to show its signs of wear. I am looking for the lightest, most powerful, best fit trimmer out in the market. Price is really not an option. Whats the best these days? I have a stihl F something and I hate the sound and feel of it. I really like the Redmax, but wouldn't mind trying something different. I have had echos before but something with the bump head would always break, but that was almost 8 years ago.
