Got my first 36 wb

I got a used toro 36, have used a commercial Honda for the last year and a half. Now I want to baby this machine so it last me a long time. What can I do to make this happen. I searched hoping to find a list but I didn't find anything, all suggestions and tips will be appreciated

Just look at it and don't use it. It will last god knows how long.
