Who do you have for insurance.. About how much do you pay.

To many variables to it. Depends on what type you need,are you landscape only do you provide snow plowing.How much coverage do you want,what type of deducible do you want. Employees ,solo,revenue of the company credit reports on you and the company.

Agree with @grandview Workers comp? Liability? Limits, additional insuraned? Insurance is a complex product. For almost every commercial job you'll need to submit proof of insurance with the property owner as additional insured with sometimes as much as 1-2 million dollars of liability.

I am solo mowing, apps, landscaping, shrub trimming, etc. So, no payroll. My GL will be running me $175/year thru Farm Bureau. $1mil limit.
$15K in equipment covered for about $220/yr.

One thing I always advise guys is to get multiple quotes from multiple agents. When I was looking for insurance two different agents quoted me the exact same coverage from the same insurance carrier, but there was a 10% difference between the two different agents.

FB said they wouldn't even quote us unless we had our trucks with them. Kinda sucks. The lowest I got was $800 per yr with 1mil
