Cab over off road

Ive always liked the FG 4x4 but rarely see them at a reasonable price compared to a 1 ton. I came across one with low miles at a decent price and was wondering how these do, going over lawns and fields and such compared to regular 1 tons.

The fog is a great truck .
The 4x4 works as good as any 4x4 but the fg turns in a very tight circle .
The fog is 14500 gvw a little light for a dump but with a aluminum body it not to bad .
Tire are small and need to be replace often .
Ihe 4 cyl diesel chips fuel 16 mpg .

Most 1 tons a 12-13000 gvw so 14 is a little extra. Mainly what I mean as far as off road capability is floatation. Im picturing the front end sinking bad but it may be better than a conventional truck. I dont know. Around here lawns are big and we drive over them alot but ruts are the enemy. I can avoid lawns sometimes in favor of fields but there are always those soft spots.

With a 1 ton you're not sitting over the wheels, and would give you a better ride.

My truck floats fine with 20" hi way tires .
I think the cab over is a great truck .
I think a set of BFG AT's on the front would track on lawns
real nice . John
