Also interested in real facts on this motor that appears does not have alot of user feedback on yet.
Looking at Ferris IS3100z and it is priced 1600 less with the Briggs 30hp than a 36hp Vangaurd...which has good reports.

Hopefully someone will respond with thier experience.

There have been many posts here lately on these engines. Just do a search using the search function and the word Cyclonic.
I can tell you that the Cyclonic engine is nothing more than the old Intek engine with better air, fuel, and oil filters. Tha Vanguard engine is worlds better in build and durability, and that's the biggest reason they cost more. If you have a good dealer to work with, they should be more than willing to share this info with you. Those around here that sell the Cyconic engines on their commercial ZTR's will. I'd happily pay more for the Vanguard to have a longer lasting and proven performer in my machine, though in my area, the Vanguard is $1K more, not $1600.

I'd stay away from any Briggs except the Vanguard for commercial cutting.
