besy replacement engine for a 72 Super Z 07 XR7

i have a 2007 72 inch Super Z and want more power than the 30 HP Kohler,I tried a 60 with the newer 31 kawie and they kill the Kohler bad in power but I have read Kawie has had reliabilty issues on some motors.

What is the best motor replacement option for a 72 Super Z and how much work is the conversion. Thanks for any replies.

If you are running Hustler and 72 inch why not step up to the big time and get the new Super Z with the 37 HP Kawi? Not sure what more you could want in a mower than that. Not sure why you would be concerned about a Kawi - they have been nothing but reliable little beast for me.

Thanks for the help, the Kohler runs fine but I mow alot of industrial areas that only get cut once a month and I also do steep inclines and the Kohler has torque issues. I may need to upgrade the hydro system as well and trade the high speed wheel motors for torque wheel motors. I love this mower and do not cut enough to justify a complete new mower and also I read on this site the 37 kawies has had failures and go through fuel liks a Saturn V ?
