I was setting some equipment at a convention center today & a guy rolled in with one of these. It's a remote controlled mower that supposedly will handle a 42 degree slope. It can be yours for $40k. Pretty cool.

I am making an assumption here but I would guess an operator has to stand, watch the machine and drive it with the remote control. I cannot imagine spending an extra $30,000 or so to cut grass with a remote control. Maybe I feel this way because I don't have or ever expect to have $40,000 to spend on a mower.

This is a specialized slope mower. It has an attached winch which when properly anchored will allow it to mow an even steeper slope. It was not intended to be used as a primary mower to cut a level 1/2 acre lot......
