Treatment of Watergrass in boggy area?

I'm callin it "Watergrass" as I always see it along pond banks and ditches. Have a situation where it is growing through some sod we installed over a french drain in a large ditch. Weed control is perfect minus this weed.
It is a smooth grass like weed, almost looks like chives or thick wild onions. Dark green in color. Can post pics unless someone can identify without and proposes a treatment. Thanks in advance
