whos wrong me or John deer landscape???

Ok, i have done searches on here about the permagreen synergy. It appears you can put out the pre-emergents on the entire yard with the synergy. Ive also talked aith a guy thats very knoledgable and he said you could to.

Well i called to order one from JDL and he informed me that it was just for spot spraying ONLY. I told him its the volume of pre emergent you put out not the amount of water right? he said no.

So whos wrong and whos right? does he not know what hes talking about or do i not know what im talking about? To me its just like the permagreen ride on. that only has a 12 gal tank right? so its a smaller version of that.

answers please

What does the product label state. It should give an indication on the reccomended amount of carrier.

Low volume sprayers do not work well with PRE-Emergent liquid products.

If you already have the push spreader, why not use granular?

Im down the cape and have to say. The 2 reps at our john deere landscapes are very knowledgable and always willing to give good info. Also they will visit a home if we are having an issue whether it be with turf or plantings.

Pre-emergent needs to reach the dirt.

From what I read, ultra low volume does not have enough carrier (water) to drip down off the crown of the grass.

When I spray herbicide with my PG, it is often times dry prior to me leaving the property. There simply isn't enough carrier or spray uniformity to property reach the dirt.

I'm thinking that the mixed responses from JDL's that your getting is that they are saying NO to spraying Pre-emergents, but yes, that with the Synergy you CAN apply pre-emergent GRANULAR through the SPREADER.
