The "Stars" and voting on threads in this forum...

I noticed how several had commented about a certin thread having "Five Star" ratings and how others thought how great they were because of it. The ratings on the forum automatically post all five of the stars whenever five or more votes are cast for that particular thread.

However, the true rating of a thread is shown by how many are DARK GREEN, as shown below. If you hover your mouse over the stars in the forum it will give you the total average rating for that particular thread. ie 1.23 -average. Therefore one star is DARK GREEN, and the other four are LIGHT GREEN.

If you happen to see a thread that is really good and like it, cast your vote, that option is in the bottom right corner of each and every thread.

Good idea Ray...most of us (including myself) are too busy thinking about how or what we want to say...instead of also thinking about the "quality" of that thread.

Very good observation, it makes more sense now.

Of course such genius deserves some stars!
