Hardscaping Hacks - Pics

These are my builds and as they say hindsight is 20/20.

Should have taken the time to cut a little width from the last tread pavers to fit a little tighter. At least this 7 year old install has not shifted.


Here I should have used a breaker rather than a cutoff saw to get better look on the cap ends.

In the picture above, the landing was added last minute by the owner. I should have spent more time on the design to better incorporate it into the walk out patio, instead I just did as requested. Also, I had nothing to do with the wall project landscape for what it's worth.

Hmm. Maybe this should start a new thread, "Confesions of a hardscaper". Looking back at your early jobs and saying. I should have done this or that, now that I have some jobs under my belt.

I did not do any plantings on that project but I think they are some variety of Rose. I went back after 6-7 years after install to get that recent picture and didn't really pay attention to the plants.
