Few from this weekend, one is a job we started demo on and found this wire leading to what used to be a pond, I pulled it by hand out of the grass and found this sweet connection halfway....

Second pic is pea stone being laid around his entire property....but wait that's not landscape fabric......NO that's Vapour Barrier.....

Also love how those landscape timbers are eventually going to bow and warp over the sidewalk.

More often than not it's because they want to save money! It just reinforces my belief that you get what you pay for.

not sure if its hack worthy since its so old (30 years), but I've never seen such a bad bow in a wall thats still standing. feel free to give me pointers on the re-do. Particularly dealing with the proximity to the pool and the neighbors property and fence on top of the wall. How do you put a fence on top of a wall? trying to sell them a SRW wall (liberty stone in particular) but this job is large for me and 6' high at the highest point (I know I will need a stamp and grid etc for a wall this height)
