Almost ready to replace stolen Lazer....but

You may have read my topic about my 09 Lazer being stolen while in for service. Well, I'm getting close to replacing it, but was hoping someone on here could answer a question for me. I had an 09 Lazer Model LZZ23KA526. The new lazers have the e,s, & x series. I've been told the old LZZ models would be equilivent to today's X series. My question is the S Series. They appear to be a little better than the AS series that was available in 09 when I purchased my LZZ. If anyone has a X & S series Lazer, or has cut with both, will the S series give me the same quality cut I got from my old LZZ, or should I just replace it with the X series. I know the differnt specs on each series, but as far as quality of cut is what I really want to know. I look at the LZS with a 27 kohler/60" the other day and was pleased that it appeared more like my old lazer than the AS series did in 09, but I just don't want to pull the trigger on it and wish I would have gotten the X instead.

Thanks!
