my dad's dixie chopper seat rocks

ok so my dad has a older dixie chopper seat. its one of the white ones.
it is super soft and springy.

i looked on their web site and it looks like they are going to the harder material like everyone else is now.

even the back rest feels good.

do they make a nice seat like this anymore.

i got a air ride suspension base installed but now i need to get a nice seat.

whats the softest seat out there? i'm interested in buying a new seat!

Deeres yellow seat is the softest that I've sat in. It's the ones on the z900. It just needs suspension under it, but it sounds like you have that.

Yeah by the time I get done spending the $ on the seat I want I could have bought a new mower.

Ill probably have $600 in it. I wish when I order a new mower I could special order it without a seat.so I could put my own on it.

Dixie still makes the Gee Ride Super Seat. I have one and it is about as padded as they get.

If the frame is still OK on your old seat find an upholstery shop and tell them you want it extra cushioned. It's gotta be cheaper than an entire new seat and will probably be exactly what you want.

Yes I thought about that but I don't think that's worth my time.

I see dixie uses a spring type system similar to a bed spring in the seat my dad has too.

In the white seat anyway. I'm not sure about that gee ride seat.
