Problem with Stihl starting

I have a Stihl FS55R trimmer and the past few days I have had a terrible problem with it starting. I have pulled the rope many, many times without too much like. Finally, after pulling the rope enough times (and not doing anything else to it) it will start and spit and sputter for a minute and then it will stay running. The funny thing is that after it is running, it runs fine. It doesn't run choppy or anything. What would cause this?

I have Stihl equipment and found they sometimes have quirks like any other equipment I pull with choke on until it fires once then flip choke off and it will usually start after a few pulls. For the difficult starts sometimes opening the fuel cap especially if its really hot out. I also second grandview with the spark screen and maybe a new plug.
