Securing cable to downspouts

If, in a given situation, there is no other way to run cables down from above,
does anyone have a good method of securing cable to the backside of downspouts?

Couple of ways to do that.

1- Using small cable straps just beside the gutter where it can barley be seen.

2- Loosen the cutter strap to move gutter out of your way and use the same type strap but behind the gutter.

I can't picture the kind of straps you are suggesting. I googled and came up with nothing but cable "ties" which would also be highly visible if they wrapped all the way around the downspout. Link? Supplier?

I have seen smaller ones at HD just look around the area where cable straps are.

I've run inside the downspout and drilled a hole on the back side at the bottom for the cable to come out of in the past.

If you can loosen the gutter straps, you can rivet on a few self stick nylon cable tie mounting points, and use those with small zip ties. These are the kind of square piece with the self stick tape on the back. If you just use the self stick, they won't last, but if you drill a small 1/8 in hole and use a small pop rivet, they will stay put.

When you're done, reattach the downspout to the house and no one can see anything.
