Pfff...this up tight society we live in these days is rediculous. It was once considered more than acceptable to smoke anywhere you damn well pleased and now its like you go around kicking peoples dogs. Even outside not being allowed to smoke near a doorway because of second hand smoke, get real. Not likely outside.

I do respect others that dont smoke and try my best to stay clear of them, but makin you look unprofessional because you have a smoke or dip while your working...really? How is that? Because society deems it as tabboo. Whatever. Smoking is a freedom i enjoy and others have the right to tell me to stay away from them while i smoke but unless a customer has an issue with me smoking while i work then i will not do so.

I may have to buy myself a pouch of chew just to get back at the people who don't pick up their dogs turds haha. Its even worse when you run over it with the mower tire in the morning because you have to smell it all day if the grass is dry!

I used to chew on the job, I would make it so it wasn't noticeable. But I quit 17 months ago and do not regret it at all!

I don't allow smoking on the jobsite, in the trucks, or in the shop. You can smoke outside the shop, during your lunch, and at home.

Not everyone on a crew smokes and they don't want to be around it. Not all customers smoke and they don't want to smell it when they get home. I don't smoke and don't want to smell it in my trucks.

I used to allow someone to chew until it got out of hand. They were spitting out the windows of the truck and it was down the side of the truck.

No more chew allowed either.

I wouldn't make it through a day without a spit. I have one in all day when I'm mowing. When I'm teaching school I have one to and from work. It's a looooooooooong 8 hours teaching all day without a spit.

Its not rocket science guys. I dip every day all day. Dont spit on their sidewalks or street. If they can find where I spit in their yard then ok, I'll quit doing it.

dipped copenhagen for a long time. first i didn't pack my lip so tight it looked like I had a gob stopper in it. second you really don't spit that much. any why would you spit on the concrete or sidewalk anyway? If a customer is watching so closely to see you spit twice over a 30 minute trip they will be more aggravating anyways.
