Trailer flooring Help

Hey guys just bought a 16 foot trailer and it currently has a plywood floor that is rotted. Im debating about replacing the plywood or putting new expanded steel flooring in. what are your thoughts on this?
also , if anyone knows where an affordable place to get the expanded steel mesh in northeast Pa is let me know
thanks guys

Wood is cheap. You can mount things easier to wood. Wood let's you carry loose materials. Expanded mesh sags, leaks material and will eventually tear and rust out. Pain to cut and then weld in place.

I would use galvannil .80 gauge. It will be a bear to weld but it will not rust any time soon. Worth the investment. I est. the cost for a 16' trailer $600 to $900.

I have Rainblock engineered flooring in mine. Waterproof, wont warp. I thought it might be slick when wet (the drop down ramp portion), but no, not a problem.

Here is another option. Put in plywood, then LineX it. That is the gold std.
