Walmart/Service Channel???

Any of you guys do work for Walmart and now have to do your invoicing through Service Channel???? if so, how is it working out for you??? I have 5 Walmarts and after 3 days of dealing with Service Channel it looks like doing the lawn work in 100 degree temps will be easier than doing the invoicing......

Service channel and Retail link is a huge improvement. Glad USM is out of the picture.

You have to learn the Service Channel methods.

There is the IVR which means you call in the arrival and departure.

If the store manager does not act, the work is approved after 3 days.

This means no more chasing a manager to sign off on a W/O as they have 3 days to respond.

After 3 days and then you can create the invoice in Service Channel and attach your invoice if you wish. About a week later you are paid. Much faster IMHO. Pretty easy when you learn the system. Now I get paid weekly instead of monthly and the checks are faster.

Win / Win if you ask me. Granted you are still being hammered over prices but that is normal for a WM manager when he has time or is instructed to go cheaper.
