Start times

What time does everyone start work? Both getting to shop and start mowing first job.

Shop is out back. Start getting everything ready around 7am. In the spring I get to my first stop around 9. In the summer months I start earlier as the dew is burned off alot earlier.

Just depends on what needs done...most of the time I'll start getting stuff ready about 7-715. First yard starts at 8 or earlier 95 percent of the time.

Generally I try to aim for around 8 which gets me to my first site for 9 ish. I am solo and usually not under a huge time crunch so I would rather sleep in a little and not wake all my clients at dawn with mowers running. (Althought that doesn't really matter since other companies are out anyway)

Monday to Friday Start around 9
Saturday start around 9-10
Sunday start 10-11

It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm spraying or fertilizing I start around 7 and if I'm mowing I turn the blades on at 8.

I basically follow the noise ordinance law which is mon thru sat 8am to 9pm in residential areas. commercial areas are open to whenever.

I have one commercial lot I start around 7:15am on tues that puts me at my first residential at 8am.

screw sleeping in and screw worrying about waking people up. I'd start as soon as its light out if the law would let me. that's like 6am this time of year.
