Is this the best way to pull Shrubs out

Well Started this Job today

I do this all the time. Use chains, tow straps etc. Effective and VERY efficient.

We pulled out Bushes with out GMC 4500 Before... Didnt even press the gas and they were out!

Hate seeing a good landscape go unmaintained! Bushes Covering the Windows...INSANE!

Assuming there is not any power, cable, water, gas lines in there that the plants have wrapped around then in your clay like soils I would say yes.

The shrubs been there for 20 yrs I didnt install the shrubs But I installed grass

I guess it worked, I would be concern about the roots being under the foundation. So if there was not going to be bushes planted back and grass installed I would of probably cut the bushes off and then ground the stumps.

Shrubs going back today We raised the beds up put border in
in morning installing weed mat and then 10 ton Mississippi 1.5''river rock and install some more shrubs then repair lawn
do some hydro seeding
I have lots of pics to show tomorrow night

we were pulling some out today with a tractor and the last one had a large ground hornet nest under it, that ended that project for the day.

Thats a Great way to pull those up;does not appear to be any lawn damage
which would be my concern with that method.

I use my Toyota with its 8k winch...chock the wheels and pull.
