IMO dealer support is just as (if not more) important than the mower.

I live is Southeastern MA also and just bought a Wright Stander 36 yesterday. It was my first time ever using a commercial mower of any kind so it was a little awkward at first. Once I got used to it I did an OK job on the one slope I have...Actually the Wright is awesome on the hills, me, not so much.

If you happen to be around this weekend feel free to PM me and set up a time to try it out. I never got the opportunity to try one before I bought it...I just went by the reviews here on Lawnsite. So far I love it!

the stander will be faster.i do believe the walk behind and the stander you mentioned are both dual hydro.thats the only way too go.once you go hydro you can never go back to gear.

I mowed for a gent that had an Exmark Vantage 36 stander. That mower was nice. Got into all back yards. And climb hillsides like a billy goat. Mowed a very pretty lawn. Never got to use it thou. Always made me wonder how nice it rode because the owner always used it.

Vantage
