My new toy! Scag 36" SWZT Walk Behind Mower

Just bought this today and got a great deal on it so I couldn't pass it up! We decided to switch from Exmark over to Scag and so far very pleased with our newest investment! Here is a picture of the new toy and a yard we did with it today! Once I use it a little more I will do a full review of this mower! Enjoy!

Thanks! Yeah it was longer than it looks just because it wasn't green! Lol! We put a nice high rate of nitrogen on it to green her up!

Nice stripes even on brown grass. How are the controls on those do you like them?

Nice mower. I had to go look it up and see the specs and where they sell them around here. Never saw one in the wild - only on this forum..
Apparently there are a few Scag dealers in the area but not located as conveniently as my Toro dealer.

If I were looking for one, I'd go take a look at that one. I like the deck height adjustment A LOT. Makes all the other units look ridiculous with their knuckle-dragging pin and spacer method of "adjustment".
That's one of the reasons I went with Ferris. The infinite crank adjustment is SWEET because contrary to popular belief, you can't just "set it" and mow all lawns at the same height - you just do that because it's a PITA to change it.

So far I love this machine! The quick height adjustment is very convenient and the controls are very similar to the ECS controls on the Exmark walk behinds! I will be doing some major cutting with it tomorrow and will give you some more feedback on this machine. Thanks!
