Jglawn Thread 2014

So the snow got nice and soft and I decided to dig out my truck. Took a hour shoveling and another trying to get it started.

I bought this truck after I sold my 2005 Ford F-150 after the engine went out. I had a yard machine lawn mower, Echo 225 trimmer and Redmax7500. I started last year with I think 10-12 clients (Mid June-October) but had to cut my good run short due to surgery. So i sold everything and planning to buy stuff in the next couple of weeks with my tax refund, and money i had saved. I also wasnt able to do snow removal due to surgery so its been a pretty sad boring winter for me especially with all that snow that has fallen in Chicago

2000 Ford F-350 Power Stroke Diesel (Turbo) 5Speed with granny gear. Dump Dually

I have a 6x12 open trailer too that ill post later when I repaint it. Bought it from a LS member.

Later

Hope you recover well and have a solid season. Nice truck. How does it preform? I also agree with you about winter. I wasn't here for a lot of it, but the time I am here I am ready to start the season!
All the best

Thanks I have recovered and ready for this new year last year was horrible.

Oh man its a beast, it used to have a flatbed way bigger than the dump put 4 pallets of brick and it drove like a champ.. Its my former bosses first work truck he ever bought back in 2000 so I know what its capable of so I didnt think twice about it when i saw he was selling it.

The weather this year has been crazy its like Monday 40, Tuesday -40 4-6"snow, 30,-40, snow, 60, 15 degrees and tomorrow its suppose to be 55-60?? Then Wednesday they are predicting snow???

Hey Jg... Awesome truck man!!!

Wanna trade?! I hadn't seen your thread and it's a funny coincidence that I told you I wanted diesel! LOL

They are twins! With yours being the cool older brother because he's diesel...

Gas or Diesel, they are still beasts that can handle a LOT!!! I was just telling some other guys how they will handle 4 ton like a champ!

Good luck to you this season as well! It's going to be a good one!

Bro, you gotta see it, they are literally twins...

It's right here in the pictures section.... but on page 2...

It's not my thread but a thread started by Thornton Services LLC called...

"2014 Lawn Care Trailer Truck Set Up Equipment Pictures Lawn Care"

If you go to page 2 it is almost at the bottom of the page... It's a cool thread, lots of peeps have posted their set ups...

The house where I park my truck and trailer let me build my own little storage spot its not a shop like most of the guys on LS but its something I can store my stuff while my apartment lease can expire and I can rent a house with garage. my dad and I couldnt do much to it cause it still has ice on the floor. But we covered it enough to put my stuff for now.
