Identify this block please

Have to make repairs to this job and wanted to know the type of block, anyone used or seen this before. I'm hoping it isn't hollow.
Guy who built this last year won't answer the phone!

On a side note, this is what gets me.

People have a job done by an alledged so called "contractor".

But the contractor doesn't SPELL OUT the manufacturer name, colors, and model(s) of materials used, in the proposal and again on the final invoice????

Seriously, if you're not clearly identifying the materials you're using - you're not a contractor, go back to mowing yards.

Thanks for the tip you guys are correct, this is the block. Damn hollow blocks. Well the homeowner had three estimates and ended up giving the work to a guy who needed a job, can you believe it. Damn shame. He back filled the top six steps with dirt and ground, this job is only one year old. I'm going to fix it for her and the walkway, man you gotta see the walkway, just incredible. It should take a couple of days and I'm charging her close to what she paid for the whole project. No warranty either.
