It was so weird. Never had a problem with Shindaiwa for 20 years. About 8 or 9 years ago? when those blue 8510s came out, I bought one because it was advertised as the most powerful blower. Never buy one of those 4 stroke pieces of junk again. I ended up going through a few different blowers in one year because they would only last about 30-40 hours... Redmax all the way now for blowers.

never again for me too. my c4 stuff lasted only 1.5 seasons.
