not long ago a member of this fine forum was asking for suggestions to an issue with a water feature. i gave him my 2 cents and offered to send him a very inexpensive part.

long story short, the part didn't work in the situation but i received a nice thank you and a gesture of his appreciation.

This was just one incident where 1idjim was exceptionally gracious and attempted to assist me in a project. All that I did was to thank him for trying to help by sending him a small token of appreciation.

After all, we are all, for the most part, on this Forum to aid each other, aren't we?

Sometimes special thank-yous are indicated and appropriate and should be, in my thinking, more common place....the norm.
