here in mn my little area was doing ok on the rain.
id get a tiny shot just to keep me in business. now its dryer than the dickens out there!

90% of my lawns are brown and crispy and this is the Pacific North Wet.
This is the worst drought in my 30 years of this buisness. |

The only reason turf is (somewhat) green around here--as opposed to July--is because of the cooler temps. But it is just as dry.

96% of MN landscape is abnormally dry or worse
fire watches are pretty much the norm in many areas and spreading at above normal rates. Not sure if we've had measurable precip since Aug 1. N Metro Fall turkey hunt this weekend ...early birds in the AM should be successful with 80* temps....and no rain. Last edited by unit28; 09-27-2012 at 08:39 AM. |
