2004.5 GMC LLY Duramax Diesel NICE *FORD STRAIGHT AXLE SWAP!*

2004.5 LLY Regular Cab Duramax
Work Truck (rubber floor)
Manual windows
Manual locking front hubs (Ford front axle conversion kit) Which means aftermarket tierods & transfer case shaft specifically for this axle
Power Locks
4x4
120000 miles
Allison Transmission
New tires and rims
Oil changed every 3500 miles with Shell Rotella T
Boss Plow mount
Rear Ebling Swingwing backblade mount
Straight pipe exhaust from turbo
New front shocks
New power steering pump
Comes with a superchip tuner
All new kenwood speakers with new deck that is XM ready
Im sure im forgetting more...
ah, I just had Muffler man on Lake Mich Dr put all new brake hardware on the front: New calipers, rotors, pads

I brought this truck to Merchant Automotive (duramax and allison specialist in Zeeland MI http://www.merchant-automotive.com/ ) to have them go through the ENTIRE TRUCK. Heres what they did:

6-19-13
Brand new LLY Turbo (stock was leaking)
all new gaskets for turbo
New exhaust manifold
New transmission cooler
Transfer case pump upgrade plate (designed by merchant)
New gaskets for that
New Alternator
New spring insulators
New fuel filter
New starter
New Transmission mount
New Motor Mounts (Designed by Merchant)
All new fluid
TRUCK CHECKS OUT

I have receipts for everything.
Todd Wenzel chevy in Hudsonville MI put new injectors in at 70000 miles for preventative maintenance. You can call them as well to verify.

Truck is basically BRAND NEW. Bill from Merchant Automotive was $5000. Jake at merchant Automotive is the one to contact if you would like to verify all this work and that the truck checks out. With that, i will not let you take this truck to a diesel mechanic unless its to Merchant Automotive, for the sole purpose of their reputation. If you have no idea who they are, please do yourself a favor and research them. They get customers from New York who bring them their duramax. No joyrides either.

$18000/obo

8' 2" boss V Blade for an extra $3000

I love this truck to death, but I am in need of a extended cab truck. Like i said, truck is solid and the fact that merchant did all the work and checked entire truck says it all.

Call only. Will not respond to emails unless you require more pics. Truck is worth more than the price. Awesome buy

This is probably why you are not getting any bites. I know I wouldn't. I know who Merchant is as I purchase stuff from them. However, I still would want my own mechanic to inspect it. It sure does sound funny that you insist potential buyers to only contact Jake for this or Todd for that. What if I want Eric to inspect it?

Also, why was the truck repainted?

I just know of some shady mechanics out there. I make that statement because of Merchant's reputation for durmax & allison transmissions.

Truck was repainted to match other vehicles.
