Who double cuts lawns?

Who has to double cut the lawns they mow? I run exmark tt 60'' with sharp blades the grass just doesnt get chewed up am i the only one?

Nope, I try not to make a habit out of having to do it. If the lawns are small sometimes yours better off banging them IMO.

I have never banged a lawn before. We will double cut sometimes but it is often on the bi-weekly accounts.

We double cut everything. Unless its real thin and not needed in the hotter summer months.

I do it if needed to cut up clippings, I'm not some hack who leaves dead grass all over the top of the lawn.

Almost every lawn unless it is small enough to bag or as Goldpro said its thin and in a slow growth period.

yea i cant bring myself to leave dead grass on the lawn, then i double cut

I double cut mostly everything to chew up more of the grass and double cutting makes the stripes look better
