Blade Sharpening Video
I found several videos on sharpening blades, but not any that actually show a close up of properly squaring the tip... with a good close-up before and after shot. I have had my 9000 for several years and know what I do, but am curious if my end result is as good as it should be. Are there any videos as such?

Hello Sonnie,
We have just finally gotten our factory studio set up and will begin shooting various videos of all of our products and accessories. So keep an eye out, we will certainly make press releases and post on lawnsite about it. Thank you,

I have the same question. From everything we are told, the most important part of the blade is the tip. Can you please show us how you are sharpening the tip? It looks like in the video that you are not even going out to the end, which is what is the hard thing not round the end.

Hello All,
We continue to work on more videos and we are getting them out as fast as we can. The PROPER USE videos for each sharpener are only for showing the proper HAND POSITIONING when sharpening a blade. MAG-9000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTSnE...uyXc3Q&index=2 MAG-8000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hvMq...uyXc3Q&index=1 We will be make many more very specific videos about the correct process of sharpening and balancing. So by NO MEANS are we done making videos. Just please be patient, we will release more as we create them. Thank you,

Use the side of the wheel & wheel guard (clear plastic side panel) as a blade rest. Look for the corner cutouts. Cutting edge up, trailing edge down with respect to wheel rotation. Dress the side after doing cutting edge. The side should have an indented relief angle - meaning the side tapers inwards slightly from tip to heel - this provides relief for a spinning blade.
