Electrical Engineering student from Penn State who said his father had been in the business and gave him several transformers of various sizes and manufacturers to sell. He's been reasonable to work with, offering a complete refund and/or partial refund if I decided to keep it. I would probably have kept it if I could figure out what I have. I'm thinking/hoping it was just a mistake.

It's made by MDL(no longer in business), get rid of it, unless your willing to assume liability.
