I use the small stainless or brass brushes that they sell at Harbor Freight, Lowe's, HD etc. The ones the size of a toothbrush. They work perfect without any cleaner on them. If you need to do it right now, use an old toothbrush and a little WD-40 (or even dip the brush in gasoline).

Hold with an old pair on needle nose and heat to bright orange with a torch, then brush or blow out with air.

If you sprayed brake cleaner on it while you were heating it... Would that speed the cleaning process? Posted via Mobile Device |

Don't know whether it would speed it up but it would be entertaining. Could you record a YouTube of the process, Slapper?
