SEALENT / Sq.Ft

Hello all,

How much sealent would be used per driveway. For example, if I have a driveway that is 800 sq.ft how much liquid ashpalt sealent (litres) would be needed to seal the driveway?

many thanks!

Mike

Roughly 25 liters.

1 Liter of sealer = 30 sq/feet sealed

How come you Canadians don't measure driveways is square meters? You guys use the metric system for everything else but still measure asphalt in square feet.

Just wondering.

Because every device sold in the stores to measure are already set to measure in square feet and not in meters.

That, and our customers would laugh at us if we used that measurement.

Im sorry to sound like a know it all but there is no such thing as a "oil based pavement sealer" and as a professional seal coating contractor you should know this. There are products called pavement rejuvenators that contain oil but they are not actually what is called a true pavement sealer.
