I was just asking because of this comment you made. Quote. I wonder if he'll sign a 12 mont contract so I can bill him for July?

I assume by that comment you are busting on those that have 12 month contracts.

Judging by the other picture you posted in the other thread and the condition of that property, I gather your just mow, blow, go.'

not "busting" on anyone. If you can get and justify a 12 month contract, hats off. My point in posting those pics and the conditions of those properties is just to highlight the severity of the drought we're currently in. How you "gather" is up to you. Short story is I network with 2 other local guys who between us 3 cover a wide range of lawn/landscape areas-none of it with a 12 month contract. Works for us, and those we work for.

We're finally getting some rain. I actually got SOAKED today mowing the last of FOUR cuts. (I would normally have around 10 today)

Now all the biweely accounts that I've been skipping will all need cut at the same time. LOL! My schedule is a wreck.

I've never been so happy to have too much to to!

if it came off like a crack, apologies. Merely trying to make a point that when Mr. Jones is billed for June, July and August each month at his "even billing" rate, and had 2-3 cuts in that time frame, (a real possibility this year), then that becomes questionable to him. That, again, is why I say too many variables. It's a weather related, up/down cycle, year round.(think farming). Just my thoughts. Side note: Guy no.2 I network with does snow removal, he salted twice this winter, plowed nothing. He's not billing for work that was "under contract", but I talked to him yesterday, and we discussed lawn rejuvenation for whats sure to be needed after this year, so its a revenue adjustment, and helps my clients in the long term.

No problem... not trying to argue. I see other work that could be done on that one property. Those trees could use some trimming to remove those lower branches that hang low over the sidewalk. The edging could be done at that same property and a good blowing off wouldn't hurt either.

Those vines from that ground cover that is out of control could be pruned back so that its not climbing up the windows and brick. I'm sure those beds could use some work as well. Thats just from what I see. I'll bet I could walk around that property and find hundreds of dollars worth of work that could be done instead of cutting the lawn.

Which would justify a monthly check for that property.

lol. I could walk YOU around that property and show you THOUSANDS of dollars worth of every type of exterior/tree/landscape work imaginable. Oh hey, let me write you up a 5 yr. contract as your real eastate value continues to decline. Reality 101.
